June 2019 General Membership Meeting

Hello!

Coming up in just two weeks is our next general membership meeting, and we would love to see you there. The meeting will be held on June 2nd at 5 PM at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center.

IMPORTANT THINGS:

  • Free Pizza will be available!

  • First five non-members to arrive will be given a free BACT membership, allowing them to vote in the meeting.

  • We will be voting on a by-law change (details are below)

  • We will be voting on board members for the positions of president, web-master, and three members-at-large. If you are interested in running, please let a board member know.

Agenda for MEMBERSHIP meeting June 2nd, 5:00 MPAC:

  1. Approve minutes from annual membership meeting June 2018, membership meeting Nov. 2018, and membership meeting Feb. 2019.

  2. Treasurer's report.

  3. New business.

    1. Bylaw amendment.

      1. Current bylaws say: “The Board of Governors shall hold regular monthly meetings. In addition, special meetings of the Board of Governors may be called by the president at the request of any member of the Board.“

      2. Change to: The Board of Governors shall hold regular monthly meetings. In addition, special or emergency meetings of the Board of Governors may be called by the president at the request of any member of the Board. All board members must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the start time of any special or emergency meeting. In the event that it is not possible to give 24 hour's notice, the meeting may be held sooner with the permission of at least 2/3 of the board.
